Located at 92 Orizaba Street, Casa Wynwood Roma Norte—the latest project by Wynwood House—is set within an early-20th-century Porfirian mansion that gives life to an exclusive boutique hotel. Its mission is to offer travelers “unique stays that become lifelong memories,” combining the warmth and comfort of a home with the services and personalized attention of a boutique property.

Why do we love it?

For its unbeatable location in the heart of the city, just steps from Álvaro Obregón Avenue, where travelers can find all kinds of restaurants, eclectic bars, and galleries that reflect both the city’s current urban dynamism and the traditional spirit of great Mexico City.

What we love about the hotel is that it has only four rooms—Leonora, Lola, María, and Alondra. The latter is decorated following the latest trends in Japanese architecture, featuring only truly essential elements in spaces that become surprisingly sensorial. One example is the bed area, which seems to extend—thanks to the room’s modern stained-glass windows—onto a fantastic terrace that guests never want to leave.

Casa Wynwood Roma Norte also offers travelers the opportunity to organize that dream group trip (with friends or family) by booking the entire house and turning the hotel into a true “Clubhouse”, allowing all guests to enjoy every corner of the property: its distinguished main living room; its spacious dining room; and the library (sure to become a backdrop for incredible photos and stories on social media), which can easily be transformed into an original home cinema to screen a favorite film while having fun and strengthening bonds. Other spaces include coworking areas and the rooms’ terraces, where—why not?—a new entrepreneurial project might be born.

For these reasons, Casa Wynwood Roma Norte, like the rest of Wynwood House’s properties, stands as a novel proposal that blends the history and tradition of a city like Mexico City with new, elegant architectural ideas and exclusive services that make travelers feel at home—while inspiring them and looking toward the future of travel.
