Tokoya

This novel culinary concept is inspired by what used to be an upscale barbershop (‘Tokoya’ means ‘barbershop’ in Japanese). The restaurant of traditional Japanese cuisine and signature cocktails combines the essence of a classic sushi bar with a modern speakeasy where you can enjoy sashimi, nigiri, maki and donburi.

Located inside the Presidente InterContinental Mexico City hotel, Tokoya, whose menu was designed by Japanese chef Yasuo Asai, also features specialties such as Crab Bowl, Toro Nigiri with Chicatana or the exquisite Tokoya Roll, among many other traditional dishes. We recommend you to make a reservation.

Octavia

Every dish at Octavia is a culinary work of art that pays homage to Mexico. From the freshest, most local ingredients to the meticulously crafted presentations of Michelin-starred chef Jonatán Gómez Luna, each meal is a celebration of Mexican culture.

His menu includes options such as Quelites Leaf, Zarandeado Mussel, Shrimp Aguachile, Coconut Snow and Foie & Cacao. The restaurant, with a modern and elegant design, is located at Valladolid 96, Roma Norte, and is the new hot spot for those who want to try Mexican haute cuisine.

Balmori Rooftop

It is an oasis of tranquility located in the heart of the city. Balmori has a design that combines nature with modernity and is a place to relax, listen to good music and eat well thanks to its international and urban cuisine with Mexican touches.

From their menu we recommend the Oaxaca Bombas with melted cheese, the grilled octopus with plantain chips, the beef carpaccio and the grilled artichokes, which you can pair with one of their cocktails. Chef Alfredo Quevedo Solar offers a monthly Margarita pizza workshop and a Sunday brunch with his signature dishes.

Amaral

This is the new restaurant on Campos Elíseos, in Polanco, and located within the Presidente InterContinental Ciudad México. Its gastronomic concept is the work of chef Martha Brockmann, who offers a sophisticated experience that combines Mediterranean flavours in an avant-garde atmosphere.

At Amaral you will find dishes from French, Spanish, Italian and Greek cuisine, with exquisite pairing proposals, thanks to its extensive wine list and diverse mixology. Among the not-to-be-missed dishes are the Fresh Oysters or Olives with Rosemary, as well as the Fresh Lobster Salad. For dessert, Amaral millefeuille accompanied by passion fruit sorbet and peach jelly. The restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday. Reservations are recommended.
