QUERÉTARO: A WINE REVELATION

Querétaro, located in the heart of Mexico, is rapidly becoming a wine destination. Thanks to its temperate climate and soil conducive to grape growing, the region has seen a significant increase in producing high-quality wines. Wineries such as Freixenet México and La Redonda are at the forefront, producing red and white wines that showcase the diversity of grapes grown in the area. Many vineyards in Querétaro also offer wine tourism experiences, which provide the perfect opportunity to taste their creations while enjoying the stunning landscapes.

A UNIQUE ECOSYSTEM IN SAN LUIS POTOSÍ

San Luis Potosí is home to a unique semi-arid and mountainous ecosystem. The region’s distinctive climate has proven to be conducive to the production of innovative wines. COLONCHE: TREASURE OF ZACATECAS

In addition to its wines, Zacatecas boasts a traditional drink, colonche, which has its roots in the region’s indigenous culture. The base of colonche is aguamiel, the nectar extracted from the heart of the maguey, which is fermented to give rise to a drink with unique nuances and complex flavors. Although it is not a conventional wine, colonche has found its place in local culture and has become a drink appreciated by locals and visitors alike
