Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen: Where Luxury Relaxe

Forget everything you thought you knew about all-inclusive resorts. This one, located just steps from the vibrant Fifth Avenue, redefines the concept: it's luxurious, but without the pretense. An adults-only space designed for you to disconnect and reconnect with yourself (and the Caribbean Sea).

We spent four days in this corner of the Riviera Maya, and from the very first moment we felt what the hotel is all about: slowing down the pace of life. The recently renovated lobby gives a hint of what's to come: natural materials, clean lines, and an atmosphere that invites you to take a deep breath as you check in without a rush.

Our Junior Suite with a garden view was the perfect place to settle in. At 61 square meters, it combines functionality, a clean aesthetic, and thoughtful touches: a private terrace, a whirlpool tub, a mini-bar restocked daily, and a floor-to-ceiling window that lets in the morning light—ideal if you decide to work remotely, even if it's hard not to look at the sea all the time.

BEYOND THE BUFFET

One of the great successes of this hotel is its gastronomic offering, where each space has its own personality and flavor.

And if you like coffee, be sure to stop by Aromas—with freshly baked bread and an unforgettable cinnamon roll—or Barefoot, where we still miss the smoothies and turmeric shots..

A SPA THAT TRULY RELAXES

The Spa is another highlight. We tried the hot stone massage, which was impeccable. But the best part was the hydrotherapy circuit, guided step by step, and the experience of making our own relaxing salts. And yes, the Temazcal guided by a Mayan shaman was as profound as it was unexpected. A symbolic ritual that leaves a lasting impression.

MOVEMENT, SUN, AND SILENCE

If you like to stay active, the hotel offers everything from Caribbean dance classes to yoga by the sea. The gym is very well-equipped, and the pools offer options for both a party vibe and tranquility. Ask about the silent pool if you're looking for total relaxation.

And if your thing is to lounge all day, the cabanas by the sea or the pool are waiting for you. Some include service so you don't have to move.

Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen is a hotel designed for adults who want to disconnect without sacrificing style. It's perfect for couples who appreciate good food, comfort, and the ability to choose between total tranquility or a more lively vibe—but always with a sophisticated touch.
