There are places that shift your energy from the very first moment, and Paradero Todos Santos is one of them. Set between the desert and the Pacific Ocean, this boutique hotel offers an experience of conscious pause, where the environment sets the rhythm and the landscape becomes the main character.
Designed by Yashar Yektajo and Rubén Valdez, Paradero is defined by a warm brutalist approach rooted in its surroundings. Clean-lined walls, local materials, edible gardens, and open passages allow light, wind, and silence to guide the experience. The interiors, curated by Bibiana Huber, reinforce this connection through a serene, tactile aesthetic, while the landscape design by Polen Paisaje integrates the natural environment as an essential part of the project. In the upper suites, suspended nets invite guests to gaze at the star-filled sky, poised between desert stillness and calm.
The experiences included with the stay are designed to reconnect body and mind with Baja California Sur—from mindful surf sessions and cooking classes using local ingredients to regenerative agriculture practices and sunsets experienced as a daily ritual.
The culinary proposal centers around TENOCH, the hotel’s restaurant included in the Michelin Guide 2024 and 2025, where Chef José Solís works with local produce, fire, and technique through a deeply sensory lens. This is complemented by a signature cocktail program created by Hugo Bárcenas, inspired by ingredients and memories of the region.
Why we love it
Because Paradero understands luxury as a respectful relationship with its surroundings: architecture that adapts to the landscape, included experiences that invite you to slow down, Michelin-recognized cuisine, and a unique location between desert and sea.
